Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], December 23: <\/strong>Four Clowns, an Ahmedabad-based advertising and communication agency specialising in development communication, has been awarded the prestigious First Prize in the Best Public Awareness Program category at the PRSI National Awards 2024. This recognition was presented for the agency\u2019s impactful execution of the \u201cSwachhta Hi Seva\u201d campaign under the Swachh Bharat Mission 2.0, aimed at fostering cleaner public spaces, waste segregation and reducing single-use plastics.<\/p>\n

The award, presented by the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) at the National Awards held in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, recognizes Four Clowns for its innovative communication outreach design and the agency\u2019s pivotal role in the campaign\u2019s success. With guidance and support from the Hon. Mission Director and the dedicated team of Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) Gujarat, Four Clowns orchestrated an engaging series of street performances, feedback loops, and behavioural science-driven strategies that resonated deeply with local communities.<\/p>\n

In the awards ceremony, the First Prize in this category was jointly awarded to Four Clowns and Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation. The Second Prize went to Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. \u2013 Barauni Refinery and Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemical Limited, while the Third Prize was awarded to Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. \u2013 Marketing Division, Eastern Region, and NTPC Limited \u2013 Aurangabad.<\/p>\n

The campaign, targeting 100 municipalities across 22 districts in Gujarat, directly reached over 2.5 lakh citizens and indirectly impacted over 1 million people. Four Clowns\u2019 commitment to sustainable, eco-friendly practices and their ability to drive positive behavioural change through innovative and participatory communication has set a new benchmark in public awareness campaigns.<\/p>\n
