June 23: The 8th International Day of Yoga was celebrated in Singapore on the 21st of June 2022; the day is observed as the International Day of Yoga worldwide every year. Last year, the day was celebrated online and offline in Hybrid mode. The celebration witnessed a large number of participants in each event. Since there were no Covid restrictions this year, International Day of Yoga 2022 was celebrated greatly; the event was backed by Vyasa Yoga & Ayurveda Singapore, along with more than 30 organizations.
The High Commission of India backed these events organized by Vyasa Yoga & Ayurveda in Singapore. Many other reputable and government-affiliated organizations such as Active SG, Gardens By The Bay, Passion Wave, Citi Changi Office and Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry joined hands for this year’s event. The highly professional instructors of Vyasa Yoga Singapore guided the participants toward a healthy lifestyle and great enthusiasm in celebrating the International Day of Yoga.
To reflect the 8th IDY theme, Vyasa Yoga & Ayurveda Singapore held hands with the diverse, multicultural community of Singapore by holding around 40 sessions over nine days, starting from the 18th of June to the 26th of June 2022.
